“NYSC 2016 Batch ‘B’ registration commences September 2016”; See What Nysc Has to Say

Due to the erroneous rumour that has being in circulation over the internet for a couple of weeks now, concerning the 2016 Batch ‘B’ Orientation course, the management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) had come out to made their ground known to the general public about the news.

Some weeks ago, a false information went wide on the internet directing prospective corp members to commence the online registration starting from 8th of September, 2016. Claiming it’s a directive from NYSC body.

NYSC has now dismissed this information in their statement issued on Monday as false and had emanated from internet frausters in order to rip off these corp members of their money.

The body advised all guidance, parents, and prospective corpers to disregard such information as its not coming from NYSC.

They declared in the statement released that:
“Management wishes to inform all Prospective Corps Members, parents, guardians and the general public that no date has has been fixed for the 2016 Batch ‘B’ orientation course”.

“The information did not emanate from NYSC website but the handiwork of scammers whose intention is most likely to defraud unsuspecting prospective corps members and the general public.”

They further said:
“As soon as management comes out with the date for the forthcoming orientation course, this would be made known to all those concerned through our normal channels of communication viz:

They therefore enjoined all prospective corp members awaiting the ‘NYSC 2016 batch ‘B’ Orientation course’ to be patient a bit for the body as all hands are on deck to ensure the quick mobilization of the corp members.

And due to the present economic situation being encountered in the country, the body may likely not able to produce 3 batches of corp members this year as the usual tradition. But they assured that certainly, the batch ‘B’ will soon be on camp for their 3 weeks Orientation course.
