
NYSC 2021 Batch A Registration Instructions
It is heartwarming to inform PCMs that NYSC registration portal will be opened from the 18th February 2021 and it will remain open till 19th March 2021. Oh yes, it is a thing of joy that those who graduated since 2019 that were not able to register for NYSC mobilization due to Covid-19 will soon serve their Fatherland.

To register, log into NYSC official web page using this link (www.portal.nysc.org.ng) and use the link to create an account. Below are information required prior to registration;

Finally, click on “continue”.
You will receive an email address containing all the details you provided. You will have to verify the email and continue your registration by logging into NYSC portal.
NYSC Registration Guide for 2021 Batch A
Below are tips to guide PCMs during NYSC Online Registration.
1). Do not thumbprint by proxy (Thumbprint should be done by you).
2). Make sure you apply for Name Correction on your dashboard. It can be done even after the Orientation Exercise.
3). The passport photograph you will upload should be very clear showing the eyes,nose, mouth and ear.
4). Make sure you go through your records before submission to avoid submitting wrong details.
5). Always keep the Password & Username used during your Registration.
6). In case you have registered before and was not able to complete your Registration or Submit, there is no need to create a new account, just click on “Login Here” on the NYSC portal to continue your registration using your previous Username and Password.
NYSC Registration Requirements
If you are a prospective corps member (PCM), then it beneficial you take note of the following information below as it will help you to go through the registration process with less stress.
1). Active E-mail address & Phone number: As a prospective Corps member, you are to ensure that you have a functional e-mail, which you have full access to, as well as a phone number which they can reach you with.

3). Only locally-trained graduates whose names appear in the Senate/Academic Board will have access to the register on the NYSC portal. Foreign trained graduates are not required to carry out the process.
4). All prospective Corps members are to register with their correct Matriculation numbers.
5). Nigerians who schooled in foreign institutions are to register and upload listed below on NYSC portal:
First Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) Certificate
Working class Graduates will need to upload their original LETTER OF APPROVAL from their employers to undertake their courses and original ADMISSION LETTERS.
They will also present either their General Certificate of Education (GCE O’ Level) (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or West African School Certificate (WASC) (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings) or High School Diploma or its equivalent or NECO (with not less than 5 Credits at 2 sittings).
Graduates of Laboratory Science, Physiotherapy, Nursing Science, Pharmacy, Medicine and other health-related courses Must upload their current-professional license (Expired license will not be accepted).
International traveling Passport showing date of departure for the course of study and data page.
Transcript of the first Degree or HND.
TESTIMONIALS or ATTESTATION LETTERS will not be accepted in place of original Degree/HND Certificates.
6). Graduates of Medicine, Physiotherapy, Medical Laboratory Science, Veterinary Medicine, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Optometry are to provide the professional bodies of their Certificates of Registration because Payment receipts will not be accepted.
7). Letter of verification must be uploaded during registration this applies to Foreign-trained prospective corps members and their foreign institutions must be accredited.
8). Prospective corps members who schooled in Countries where English is not their official language should ensure their Certificates and Transcripts are translated into the English language before uploading them.
9). Ensure you don’t upload fake documents to avoid being demobilized and decamped.
10). Before uploading any Passport photographs endeavor they meet the requirements below
The picture or passport must be centralized and fill the frame.
It must be on a white background or off-white and must not have any shadow.
your face (eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and jaw) must enter the photo without bending.
11). Prospective corps members that previously paid for the registration and was not later mobilized will not be required to pay again.

13). Foreign-Trained graduates should register with a Nigerian Phone number.
14). Prospective corps members who wish to PRINT their call-up letters online or want their call-up numbers sent to them through SMS are the only ones expected to pay N2,786.24
15). There will be no further registration once the NYSC portal is closed.
16). For those prospective Corps members who don’t want to the N2,786.24, must retrieve their call-up letters and call-up numbers from their schools.
17). Married female prospective corps members will be required to upload their marriage Certificates which will serve as evidence of Change of name. Their husband’s place of abode during registration will also be required.
18). Pregnant and nursing mothers may likely not be accommodated in the orientation camp as it is not ideal for them.
19). Verification of Foreign-trained graduate’s documents will now be done at the Orientation Camps and not NYSC Headquarters at Abuja like in the time past. They will be required to appear at the Orientation camps in their State of deployment with the original documents they uploaded for verification alongside their online printed call-up letters.
20). During registration, it is not advisable to register by PROXY. Also, remember the fingers which were used during your biometric capturing because it will be required during verification at the orientation camps. For those who can’t be verified via the biometric at the Orientation Camp will not be registered.
